Gym Stumbling and Writer's Workshop

Today I found out I was going to be able to go to a writer's workshop with a teacher who sounds pretty cool. I'm really happy about going because it sounds really fun, and I learned that one of the moms is bringing her daughter! Maybe we'll be able to chat. It'd be fun to chat with another young writer, hopefully she's around my age.
The first class is next month, a few towns down from where I live. It's a all day thing, and sometimes there are other times when the group gets together (the teacher is  just a visitor, I think.) and they all read and review each others work! My mom has been there and says it's really fun and all the people are nice. I really can't wait to start going! This is also a great way for me to get impartial opinions on my stories!

Later on in the afternoon I went to the gym and had a very short workout. Why? I didn't have anything to drink the entire day other then a cup of coke. I was so dehydrated I got dizzy and my stomach twisted up. I felt really bad leaving early, but I couldn't keep going. My mom drove me home and I chugged down few bottles of water. I feel much better now, so that'd good.

Tonight I think I'll try writing some more of my story, Bellicose In France. I have two chapers' so far, and it's pretty fun. Lately I haven't had much time to write, between  the gym, school, and cleaning, there just hasn't been enough time. It makes me a little sad but I guess it's for the better. I have been drawing a lot though, my notebook is quickly filling up. I'm starting to really like how my doodles are coming out. If I can get a good camera (my cell phone is totalled) I think I take some pictures of my doodles, clean them up, and post them on my DeviantART. All the stuff I have on there isn't anything I'm actually proud of.

In other news, I think I'm officially in love with a song. It's one of my top 10 favorites, and I first heard it in the Assassin's Creed: Revelations trailer. It's called Iron, by Woodkid. Every time I listen to it I start liking it more! Maybe one day I'll post a list of my top 10 songs, I think it'd be fun. My taste in music varies, much I've always like the more dramatic, comedic, rock metal, soundtrack, or eerie kind. And when I say eerie, I mean Creature Feature's "Gory Demise" kind of eerie. I've always like things with heavy beats, you know, lots of drums. Three Days Grace is one of my favorite bands, I have all of their Cd's. One day I'll get a shirt and poster! I've also started liking "creepy carnival" music.. Weird huh?

All right I'm going to stop now before I rant too much.

Thanks for reading,
Laura.
